Anne is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with more than 14 years of expertise in the practice of employment and commercial law.

She is the head and founder of Anne Babu and Company Advocates and is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Kenya Employment Law.

Prior to joining Gold Star Kenya Board, Anne has been providing legal guidance on employment and commercial laws to the organization.

Anne has been identified and ranked globally by Chambers & Partners as one of the leading employment lawyers in Kenya. She was ranked by Legal500 and Chambers & Partners as one of the leading employment lawyers in Kenya. Anne has a strong interest in practicing employment and business law.

She received her bachelor's degree in law from the University of Nairobi and her master's degree in Industrial and Employment Relations from the University of Turin, the International Training Center of the International Labour Organization, in Italy.

She is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya International Labour & Employment Relations Association (ILERA) Labour Law Research Network (LLRN).
