Eunice Ako has more than 15 years shows exceptional commitment of experience in HIV and reproductive health programs, research and care. Eunice health program implementation experience for maternal health emanates  from her work in clinical, MCH, research in PMTCT/EID addressing POC implementation. She has a track record HIV health policy implementation policy for early infant diagnosis and reduced TAT for PCR tests highlighting technical expertise. Eunice served as a MNCH project coordinator prior to joining Goldstar Kenya with a track record of improving access early 1st ANC in Kilifi County, and skilled hospital delivery. Her success was also in baby friendly health initiatives improving exclusive breast feeding within the first six months of infancy. Eunice is very passionate about achieving an HIV free generation among infants and children through her aversion of HIV of Vertical Transmission  efforts, keenly analyzing and programmatically following up seroconversions among children and utilizing the of data to improve on EID follow up. Her involvement in innovative EMTCT approaches, as well as male and maternal support initiatives, shows a comprehensive understanding of family-centered HIV prevention. . In addition, she has participated actively in  RRI addressing Vertical transmission of HIV gaps and program data validations. The impact of her work is evident   by sustained  HIV Vertical Transmission rate below 5%, Early ANC attendance in Nakuru County, skilled delivery in Kilifi County. Of key  her immense contribution is to address the EMR utilization for better EMTCT/EID data  drive and LOE  for valid maternal and infant EID outcomes. She is a qualified  registered Nurse  currently undertaking MSc International  Public health. She also holds a degree in Nursing. Socially Eunice is a strong champion for wellness and she has marshaled and lead a walking community for health and wellness within the project.

 Eunice’s passion for health and wellness extends beyond her role, as she leads fitness initiatives and participates in outdoor activities like hiking and marathons. This blend of expertise and dedication positions her as a strong advocate for healthier communities and an HIV-free generation.
