Osoti Osoti Is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer supporting USAID Tujenge Jamii Monitoring and Evaluation activities in Laikipia, Baringo and Samburu Counties. He has 7 years of experience in providing mentorship and capacity building for County, Sub-County and facility staffs in M&E. He has worked closely with the County and Sub-County leadership to strengthening Ministry of Health data quality, data demand and information use as well as the data collection and reporting systems. Prior to joining GoldStar Kenya, he served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with Family Health international, a Monitoring and Evaluation Focal Mentor with the Médecins Sans Frontières and a Data Officer with Population Appropriate Technology for Health.

 As a NASCOP TOT for M&E tools, he has participated in the development of tools as well as training the users. With great interest in implementation of electronic medical records systems, he has served as an EMR champion in all the projects he has worked proving mentorship and strategic directions for achieving reporting status using EMR systems. His pioneering efforts and close collaboration with the project, facility and County leadership saw the successful migration of Nakuru PGH to point of care use of EMR system at the CCC within a record three months. This further spurred greater interest and success in EMR use by other high volume site for reporting in the Afya Nyota Ya Bonde project.

Osoti Holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems management from Kenyatta University, Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from African Institute of Project Management Studies and currently working in research work towards attaining Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology and Population Studies from Maseno University.
