CPA Omondi Joash O., Msc. Finance, Bcom, CPA (K) is an experienced Finance, Accounting and Grants specialist with over eight years of experience in different capacities in finance & Accounting, Administration, Grants Management, Budgeting and Budget controls, Cash flows management, Fund raising, Taxation and Procurement. Currently as Finance Officer with Goldstar Kenya, an indigenous Non-Governmental Organization. Joash Omondi has managed to oversee successful financial reporting in all projects funded by USAID, DFID and Safaricom Foundation. He has also built significant knowledge and expertise in leading and designing internal control systems targeting proper implementation of grants agreements, policies, sub-awards, management reporting and taxation.

His expertise in Administration Management, fundraising and business development, conducting cost-benefit analysis for different investment proposals, grants management and financial reporting, strengthening internal controls & compliance, developing and managing budgets, risk assessments and review of financial statements for forecasts of future funds flow lies in his work with other INGOs such as IntraHealth Inc., University Research Co., LLC (URC Kenya) and Somuc Consultants in Uganda. He Possess excellent supervisory skills and has successfully managed regional finance & admin team over a period of time.

Joash Omondi is a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He holds Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Accounting and Masters of Science in Finance all from University of Nairobi and currently pursuing Certified Financial Analysis (CFA) with CFA Institute.
