Talent and Human Resources Lead

Moureen Atieno Obama is the Talent and Human resources lead. She has four years’ hands on experience at both International and local Non-government organization sector where she undertook a Human Resource Generalist role.

As the Talent and Human resources lead, she oversees the functions of operations, communication, human resource/administration roles such as recruitment, training & development, reward and remuneration management, management of employee relations, grievance and discipline, industrial relations and retention, staff induction and onboarding, managing Human Resource information system & employee databases and employee performance management. She is also in charge of talent acquisition and development activities. She has implemented regular performance evaluations and in charge of employees’ succession planning. She has also partnered with different departments creating an equal and collaborative environment. Ultimately, she manages all talent aspects of the organization and has built a workplace that fosters organizations objectives and values.

Moureen holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Option from Daystar University and Bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts) from the University of Nairobi. She is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
