Duke Momanyi
Communications Lead

Duke Momanyi is a communication specialist with a vast experience in journalism, media, social and Corporate Communication.

Prior to joining Goldstar Kenya, he started his career with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) where he served as a Producer and Content Developer. In his role he effectively managed reporting and interviewing techniques such as reading through press releases, researching articles, interviewing sources, script writing/editing, program idea generation, organizing and attending events, liaising with editors, sub-editors, designers and photographers among other duties.

As a communication specialist at Goldstar Kenya, he manages and participates in full scope of communication support tasks including statements, press releases, developing and producing of information products and publications, communications strategies, developing web pages and managing the social media, event coverage, field work, photography/videography, content creation, disseminating knowledge products and spreading other materials in order to increase awareness about empowering vulnerable and hard to reach populations to achieve better health.

In addition, he is responsible for promoting a positive public image of Goldstar Kenya. 

Duke holds a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communications from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC).
