David Odhiambo Adipo
Research & RMNCH Quality Assurance Officer

David Odhiambo Adipo has over 10 years’ experience in Community Health, Clinical and development programs. Before joining Goldstar, served as Program Quality Assurance Officer for Ps Kenya and Public Health Programs Manager for Lwala Community Alliance. Successfully, coordinated Franchise and Public Private Initiatives for RMNCAH, HIV, TB, NCD, Quality assurance among many other programs. He has been providing Technical support to County departments of Health. David was key in pioneering and rolling out of different projects including Global fund TB Public Private Mix (PPMI), DESIP RH, USAID HCM program, Safe Care Quality Improvement program, Universal and health financing initiatives and Astra Zeneca NCD project. Through his work in private sector many health care facilities have achieved Quality improvement accreditations. His effort has also seen many private and public health care providers’ capacity built on RMNCAH/FP, HIV and TB.  At Goldstar, he has served as Technical Officer for USAID Afya Uzazi program offering technical support to Nakuru County. He brings on board rich experience in Projects design & management, Quality assurance, monitoring, evaluation and research, behavior change communication, stakeholder and partnership management, social health marketing, resource mobilization, Hospital management and health system strengthening.

David is passionate about building sustainable public health and development programs through innovations. He has participated in development, piloting and roll out of different innovations including MOVERCADO, TIKO, Tunza Platinum, safe delivery initiatives, Pronto Simulations.    He has great strengths in stakeholder’s engagement and possess good negotiation skills.

He is a ToT in Quality improvement, RMNCAH and FP. He has participated in many scientific conferences including first SBCC conference in Africa. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Public Health from Kenyatta University and currently pursuing MPH Degree (Epidemiology and Disease Control).
